June Crusade Meeting

The Eucharistic Crusaders, an army of children fighting for Our Lord, met for their monthly meeting on June 20. The meeting followed the usual routine of talks followed by an activity.

The talks were given to the various age groups by a seminarian and some young adults. The children heard about missionaries, especially St. Francis Xavier. They learned that as Catholics—and especially as Crusaders—they should be missionaries, too.

The activity of the day was dodge ball. The boys and the girls divided up and each group was supervised by the young adults in learning the strategy of war on the playing field.

To close the morning, all the Crusaders received a blessing from the Crusade chaplain.
