On May 17, 2015, Exsurge met for one of their powwows (discussions on the faith, current issues, morality). This time the matter at hand was drug use and its morality.
At first the group divided up into teams to discuss the issue. Later they all convened around their chaplain, Fr. Carlisle. He explained the issue at hand and gave the Catholic answers to the moral questions regarding the use of drugs.
