The Holy Triduum in Post Falls, Idaho was celebrated with all the solemnity of the traditional liturgy, beginning with Tenebrae on Holy Thrusday morning and ending with the Pascal Vigil.
Christ's action of washing His disciples' feet was commemorated by the celebrant, Fr Kimball, who washed the feet of twelve men of the parish. After the Mass, the Blessed Sacrament was brought in procession to the altar of repose where the faithful came to spend time with Our Lord on the eve of His agony. Returning to the main altar of the church, the celebrant, aided by the servers, in a ceremony with a striking symbolism of the treatment of Christ after the last supper, stripped the altar in preparation for the ceremonies of Good Friday.
